25-year-old journo, comes from Wales, grew up in and around Oxford, lived in London and Liverpool and has ended up in South Essex. Slightly embarrased at being paid to write stuff despite knowing loads of people who are far better writers. Striving to be a better writer myself, but concerned about repeating the phrase "better writer" within the space of two sentences. Provincial Metalhead -and proud of it, too- but I've also reached the stage where I don't feel I need to justify the bands I like that don't fall into that category or, indeed, where I have to try to be cool.
