27-year-old journo, comes from Wales, grew up in and around Oxford, lived in London and Liverpool and has ended up in South Essex. I get paid to write stuff despite not being, technically, a writer. That said, I have met some very pretentious types who would like to see themselves as writers who, well, don't get to do what I get to do. Erm, or summat. Provincial Metalhead -and proud of it, too- but I've also reached the stage where I don't feel I need to justify the bands I like that don't fall into that category or, indeed, where I have to try to be cool.
